Stephanie is from Athens, Georgia and attended the Clarke County public school system. She hold's a bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Georgia and is currently pursuing a Master's of Business and Technology degree from the University of Georgia College of Business. Stephanie is married to her husband, Jeffery, and has a stepdaughter. She's volunteers at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, and served on the Board for the Clarke County Mentor Program. Additionally, she tutored math to students and is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority.

Stephanie owns and operates St. Johns Consulting Group, LLC, an Independent Consulting company. She previously worked for the Athens-Clarke County Finance Department and the Office of Operational Analysis.
