He then earned a BA in Business Administration from Georgia College and State University. After a long career in the military Jonathan settled back in Georgia. He is an ordained minister with service as an Interim Pastor, Mount Vernon First Baptist Church, Newnan, Georgia.
Professional background
Jonathan McColumn is a retired Brigadier General in the United States Army. He had a 31-year career in the military with assignments in Kuwait, Iraq, Japan, Korea, Thailand etc. He worked largely in positions as a Logistician and in the Army Acquisition Corps (Contracting). He is also an ordained Baptist pastor and co-founded the Good Shepherd Church in Japan. He briefly worked as an adjunct university instructor at the University of Phoenix.
