Valencia Stovall's campaign for Georgia's 5th Congressional District is her first campaign for a federal seat. Valencia served in the Georgia House of Representatives when she was elected in 2012. She served in the Georgia House of Representatives for 8 years and 1 month. She also ran for the US Senate in 2020, but she did not win.
