Clayton Tucker is from Lampasas, Texas. He has a bachelor's degree in international politics and trade from Southwestern University. He also studied at National Chengchi University in Taipei. 

Clayton is a rancher and small business owner. He works on his family's farm, RX Ranch, near Lampasas, Texas. He raises cattle, goats, donkeys, and more. Clayton also owns two small businesses. He previously worked as a water and agriculture researcher for the National Science Foundation and as a kindergarten teacher. He also authored a science fiction book called Mandated Happiness. 

Clayton previously ran for Texas State Senate District 24 in 2020 but did not win.

Supports measures to prevent and reverse the accumulation of micro- and nanoplastics in the environment and human bodies.

Supports shifting to organic farming practices.

Believes chemicals like Glyphosate and PFAS/PFOA damage soil health and reduce nutrition levels in food.

Energy & the Environment

Plans to update Texas labeling laws to distinguish between processed and organic foods and to identify foods not grown in Texas, aiming to make local produce the standard.

Public Health

Supports halting the construction of new 765 kV transmission lines until the Texas Legislature approves and better grid planning practices are implemented.

Believes data centers are driving up costs for essential technology like computers and phones, burdening working families, small businesses, and family farmers.

Supports using unionized Texas labor for construction and maintenance.

Believes in paying "fair and adequate taxes" to local communities.

Opposes placing data centers on prime farmland.

Opposes the use of AI to automate jobs, promote propaganda, or create a subscription economy where "working people own nothing and billionaires own everything."

Believes corporate middlemen are unfairly compensating farmers and overcharging consumers, and supports limiting their influence to ensure fair pay for farmers and affordable food.
