Chad's Priorities

Increase Pennsylvania’s minimum wage for the first time since 2009

All working Pennsylvanians deserve a livable wage. Every year, 63,000 Pennsylvanians rely on minimum wage income - and most of them are adults supporting households through work in food service, retail, and other critical service-based jobs. Even working full-time, these jobs hold our workers below the federal poverty line.

In Pennsylvania, we can do better for our communities, and we are overdue for a solution to protect and empower our working class through a higher wage floor.

Chad's Priorities

Key challenges in our district include the affordability crisis, stagnant wages, and the need to support working families. I will work to make life more affordable, raise the minimum wage, and protect jobs to ensure fair pay and workplace rights. Supporting small businesses and preserving local shops and manufacturing jobs are essential for economic stability.

Supporting our small and family-owned businesses by lowering their tax rates

To level the playing field for our small and family-owned businesses, Chad believes in offering tax incentives tied to local hiring, wage growth, and capital investment. Large corporations have not paid their fair share and continue to bury these cultural storefronts, which erodes what makes our communities special.

Should the state legislature enact laws concerning the impacts on water, energy, or land use from the development and operation of data centers? Would state regulation of data center development and operation interfere with the authority of municipalities to establish ordinances under the MPC (Municipal Planning Code)?
I believe protecting our water, energy, and land is something most Pennsylvanians all agree is essential. The data centers offer a new perspective on technology and economic growth for our state. But they also raise new concerns about waste and the resources needed to operate. I believe these companies need to be responsible for the infrastructure costs of improving the power grid and systems needed, to not impose any costs on PA taxpayers, and to avoid utility bill hikes.

I believe these companies need to be responsible for the infrastructure costs of improving the power grid and systems needed, to not impose any costs on PA taxpayers, and to avoid utility bill hikes.

The state legislature needs to hold data center developers accountable for the resources they consume and the startup infrastructure costs to ensure there is no burden on PA taxpayers if they want to receive state support.

Calls for data-center developers receiving state support to cover resource and startup infrastructure costs, avoiding taxpayer burdens and utility-bill increases.

Strengthen public safety institutions with proven best practices in training, transparency, and community outreach

Our Fire, Police, and Emergency Health & Safety departments protect our communities and keep us safe. As a career first responder who specializes in community policing, Chad is looking for increased funding for public servants and has a unique perspective on how to operate these institutions to better serve every Pennsylvanian. It is critical to strengthen trust and give resources to our first responders, which will take renewed training and support for our public service officials, accountable community policing, and proactive engagement between our communities and those who serve them.

Supports increased funding, training, accountability, and community engagement for first responders and public-safety institutions.

What changes, if any, would you support to enable better access, ensure security, and support the processes of our elections?
We all know elections are the cornerstone of our democracy. I believe it should be a right of any citizen to vote in our election. I would be open to any security measures as long as they serve a legitimate security purpose and don’t infringe on any citizen’s right to vote.

Supports election security measures that serve a legitimate purpose without infringing on citizens’ right to vote.
