I was born and raised in Bucks County - the daughter of a union Amtrak conductor, and a math instructional aide and floral designer.
My parents instilled in me a strong work ethic, the importance of showing up every day, and a lasting commitment to advocating for others when it matters most.

Meet Kristin

At home, my husband Jim and I are raising three daughters; like many families in our community, our days are filled with early mornings, practices, school events, and the ongoing balance between work and family life.

Lower Costs for Families

Too many families feel squeezed from the price of daily essentials.

I’ll focus on practical solutions that lower costs and ease the pressure on working families.

Priorities

Egan said her first priority in office is to “fairly fund education” so that the costs aren’t being passed on to residents.

Raising the minimum wage, protecting the environment and strengthening public safety, including police departments and emergency medical services, are also key parts of her platform.

The cost of living crisis, she said, is another issue she plans to address if elected.

Kristin Egan for State Representative

Technology is changing the way people work, learn, and communicate faster than ever before. Our responsibility is not to fear change — but to make sure students and families are prepared to succeed within it.

That starts with strong schools, career and technical education, workforce training, and real opportunities for young people to build successful futures here in Pennsylvania.

Education

Some change brings opportunity, but families also feel the strain when development outpaces planning, roads become more crowded, and communities begin to feel less connected over time.

We need leadership that focuses not only on today’s challenges, but also on making thoughtful long-term decisions that protect quality of life for the future.

That means supporting strong public schools, investing in infrastructure, planning responsibly for growth, and making sure families continue to feel rooted in the communities they love.
