Chris McCreight earned a bachelor's degree in political science and government from Augustana College.

Chris currently works as a senior advisor to Councilmember Kayla Santosuosso. He previously worked as the chief of staff to former Councilmember Justin Brannan, a project supervisor for Douglas Elliman Real Estate, a campaign manager for a congressional campaign, and a communications director for a New York State Assembly member. Chris also owned and operated a record store for 15 years and serves as a Democratic district leader in Brooklyn.

Chris's campaign for Member of Assembly in State Assembly District 46 is his first run for public office.
