Meet Kimberly | Kimberly Vinegar for Jefferson Board of Education District 4

I am originally from Three Oaks, MI, a small town in the southwestern corner of Michigan. I attended college at St. Joseph's College in Rensselaer, IN where I received my bachelor's degree in education. While at St. Joe, I met my husband, Robert Vinegar Sr. As a result, I moved to Louisville in 1997.

In this position, I worked with all schools making sure that Section 504 law was followed. While working in those various positions, I did obtain my master's degree in education from Bellarmine University followed by getting my principal certification from Indiana University Southeast.

My husband and I have two children. Robert Edward Vinegar, Jr. and Isaiah Michael Vinegar. They are both proud graduates of JCPS. While our boys are both grown and moved out of the house, Robert and I continue to live on the edge of Fern Creek and J-Town and have a lawn care and property maintenance small business that keeps us very busy.
