Andy King (American politician) - Wikipedia

Andy King is originally from The Bronx and graduated from Evander Childs High School. He earned a bachelor's degree in communications from William Paterson University. He and his wife, Neva Shillingford-King, co-founded the Bronx Youth Empowerment Program.

Before entering politics, King worked as a New York City Child Protective Caseworker. In 2007, he became the Bronx Lead Organizer for the 1199SEIU/GNYHA Healthcare Education Project.

Andy King first ran for City Council in 2009, but did not win. He then won a special election following the resignation of Larry Seabrook and served as a member of the New York City Council representing District 12 from 2012 to 2020. He was expelled by the City Council in October 2020 following ethics violations.

Kevin C. Riley - The New York City Council

Kevin was born and raised in the Northeast Bronx and attended Mount Saint Michael Academy. He holds a bachelor’s degree in politics, economics, and law from SUNY Old Westbury and a master’s degree in public affairs and administration from Metropolitan College of New York. He is an active member of Butler United Methodist Church. Kevin has two daughters.

Kevin worked for over a decade in the office of New York State Assembly Speaker Carl E. Heastie. He also worked as a Skills Coach for the New York Foundling, mentoring young men on life skills and social awareness.

Kevin Christopher Riley currently serves as the Council Member for New York City Council District 12. He was first elected in 2020 and is serving his first term.
