Jason currently works in emergency communications at Duke University Police Department. He previously served as a corporate municipal employee for Henderson, worked with Michigan Works on business development, and held leadership positions with the Detroit Regional Chamber. He also founded Reborn magazine, a Dearborn lifestyle and entertainment publication.

Jason previously served as a Henderson City Councilor at Large from 2019 to 2023, where he also chaired the Land Planning & Development Committee. He is now running for alderperson representing Ward 3 on the Henderson City Council. He previously ran for Raleigh City Council At Large in 2013 and for Henderson Ward 3 Alderman At Large in 2015.
