Erick attends West Mitchell Street CME Church. He lives in Vinings with his wife, Dr. Tameka Allen, and his daughter, Elise. 

Erik Allen served as a state house representative from 2018 to 2022. In 2022, he ran for lieutenant governor of Georgia but did not win.
