Diane Wheatley was born at Fort Campbell, Kentucky, and later attended 71st High School in Fayetteville after her father was transferred to Fort Bragg. She earned an Associate Degree in Nursing at Fayetteville Technical Community College. Diane married Al Wheatley of Fayetteville in 1973, and together they have raised three children: Arleen, Brian, and David. Information about the church she attends is not provided.
