Linda G. Moore was born in Washington DC in 1953 and lived in Northern Virginia until relocating to New Bern, North Carolina in January 2015. She attended George Mason University and Northern Virginia Community College. Linda is married to someone with the initial V and has two sons and a daughter.

Linda G. Moore retired after 38+ years as the Vice President for Business Development with ServiceSource, Inc., a not-for-profit organization that provides employment and training for individuals with disabilities. She worked with Federal Government Agencies and the private sector to secure contracts in five states and Washington, DC.

Linda G. Moore served as the Chair of the Craven County Democratic Party from March 2019 to April 2023 and is currently the Secretary of the Craven County Democratic Party.
