Catherine is a lifelong resident of Cabarrus County. She attended Northwest Cabarrus High. Catherline has a bachelor's degree in education and a master's degree in counselor education from Appalachian State University, as well as a certificate of advanced study in counselor education and master's degree in school administration from University of North Carolina at Charlotte. She has 2 children.
