Charles grew up in the Shiloh community and attended A.C. Reynolds High School. He and his wife Anesa have two children. 

Charles is the pastor of St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church in the Burton Street Community. He previously worked as the operations manager for Home Depot.

Glenda is from Asheville, North Carolina and graduated from Asheville High School. She has a bachelors degree in accounting from Lee University, a masters of business administration in organizational management from Kennesaw State University, and a doctorate degree in business administration from the University of Phoenix. Glenda and her husband Clint have a son. 

Glenda owns 6 Firehouse Subs locations with her husband. Previously, she has worked as the interim executive director at the Irene Wortham Center, the owner of Little Beaver Child Care Centers, and CEO of Brightstar Healthcare.
