Kate Farrow is a lifelong Kentuckian and a dedicated mother of two. She grew up in a Catholic family and attended both Catholic and public schools in Louisville. She graduated first in her class from Sullivan University.

Kate Farrow began her career at the Louisville Water Company as a union laborer and advanced to Operations Manager. She has also led a comprehensive departmental review at the request of Mayor Greg Fischer.
