Stephanie is originally from Columbia, South Carolina, and currently resides with her husband and four children in Newton County. She graduated from Lower Richland High School, then studied political science at Mercer University, public administration at Georgia College & State University, and earned her law degree from Atlanta's John Marshall Law School. 

Stephanie established her own law firm, The Lindsey Firm, P.C., in 2000. She also works as an owner and real estate broker at CSL Realty Group, LLC, and is the vice president of LatReb Logistics, LLC.
