Stephanie graduated from the University of Georgia and earned her master’s degree from the Medical College of Georgia. She is married to her husband, and together they have four children. They resides in Savannah and attend First Presbyterian Church in Pooler.

Stephanie currently teaches health science students at Virginia College and South University. She previously worked at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and Yale University Medical Center as a pediatric emergency nurse. She also spent time in Honduras teaching English and doing medical mission work.
