Scakajawea Lakenna Wright’s campaign for city council member is her first entry into politics.

Scakajawea is a human resource officer at Fort Valley State University. She used to be an interim city administrator for the City of Fort Valley.

Scakajawea has lived in Fort Valley for 20 years. She has a bachelor's degree in criminal justice/psychology and a master's degree in mental health counseling from Fort Valley State University. She has six daughters and goddaughters.
