Jen is originally from Eastman, Georgia. She has a law degree from the University of Georgia. She lives with her husband and two kids.

Jen is a lawyer. She worked for law firm Bondurant, Mixson & Elmore.

Jen is currently the state senator representing district 6. She was first elected in 2017 and has been in office for two terms. She is chair of the Senate special judiciary committee.
