KaCey was born and raised in Virginia Beach, Virginia. She describes herself as a "youth education and mental health advocate, entrepreneur, and motivational speaker. . . by DNA." She has lived in Atlanta for 23 years and is a dog mom to her pitbull, Riley.

Professional background

KaCey authored two books: Built For This: A Young Woman's Journey to Self-Discovery and Empowerment (2016) and Wrestling with Peace (2018). She has worked to create marking and social responsibility plans for fortune 500 companies, including Coca-Cola, L'Oreal Paris USA, and Home Depot. She co-founded HEY! Helping Empower Youth, to support underserved youth in metro Atlanta. She has also as a liaison and advocate for youth and families in Title I schools for 17 years.
