Judicial Philosophy

Judges shouldn't make people feel irritated and unwelcome; everyone should feel like they were heard and had their day in court

People who can't afford an attorney need to be treated with time and respect, not just kicked off the calendar and sent to another courtroom

Balance the needs of the court and the time the court has available with the needs of society

Judicial Administration

Would work within Georgia's sentencing guidelines to determine if a crime was situational and a one-time offense, as opposed to a repeat offender or someone on the path to becoming a lifetime criminal.

Would approach each case by thinking of what the community at large needs

If sending someone back out into the community, she would ensure that there will be others to help them stay out of a life of crime in the future
