Julie Dahlberg is from Kentucky. She graduated from high school in 1989, attended Columbia College at Fort Leonard Wood while in the military, and has taken some college courses in criminal justice and business administration. She has lived in Texas since 1991. Julie and her husband, Shane, own a glass company and have been involved in their community for 13 years. She is a member of the First Baptist Church in Sutherland Springs. 

Julie is a co-owner of a local glass company. She is also a U.S. Army veteran. In addition, she founded a charitable ministry, The Garden - Ministry for Growing Families & Community, in 2024, which is currently in development.
