Kelly Crow is from Mission Bend, Texas. She has a bachelor 27s degree from Texas A&M University and a law degree from South Texas College of Law. She is married to Jeff Sorbel, and together they share a blended family of five sons.

Kelly is a judge. She has served as the Justice of the Peace for Fort Bend County Precinct 1, Place 1 since 2019. Before taking the bench, she worked as an assistant district attorney in the Fort Bend County District Attorney's Office from 2017 to 2019. She also served as an assistant city attorney and prosecutor for the City of Missouri City from 1997 to 2002. She then served as one of its associate judges from 2003 to 2010. From 2011 to 2016, she held the same titles with the City of Sugar Land. Kelly also served as presiding judge for the City of Rosenberg. She previously taught for the Texas Municipal Courts Education Center. Kelly also teaches for the Texas Justice Court Training Center, where she shares her expertise with fellow justices of the peace on animal-related matters in the justice court system.
