Chris Hill is originally from McKinney, Texas. He earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from Texas A&M University–Commerce, a master’s degree in accounting and information management from the University of Texas at Dallas, a master’s degree in business administration from Webster University, and a master’s degree in pastoral leadership from Columbia Biblical Seminary. Chris volunteers with organizations including Minuteman Disaster Response, The Samaritan Inn, and Hope Women’s Center. He lives with his wife, Laura, and their three children in Collin County and attends Frisco Bible Church.

Chris currently works as a certified public accountant and financial professional. He previously worked as a corporate controller for North Texas Public Broadcasting, a controller for A3D Technologies, and an executive pastor.

Chris currently serves as the Collin County Judge for Collin County, Texas. He was first elected in 2018 and is serving his second term. Chris is running for re-election for this position in 2026. He previously served as a Collin County Commissioner for Precinct 3. He served one term from 2013 to 2017.
