Cindy Siegel has a husband and two daughters. She has volunteered on the boards of the Houston Alzheimer's Association, Nature Discovery Center, Patrons for Bellaire Parks, and the Evelyn’s Park Conservancy.

Cindy is a certified public accountant. She previously was the owner of a public accounting firm that provided accounting and tax services.

Cindy is currently the chair of the Harris County Republican Party. She previously served as the mayor of Bellaire from 2004 to 2012 and as a Bellaire City Council member for six years.
