Sara Watson received her bachelor's degree in management information systems and her master's in business administration from Texas A&M. She is volunteer chair of the PTA board at Partin Elementary. She lives with her husband and their two children in Plano, TX.

Sara currently works as a principal of consumer products, retail & distribution at Capgemini, and IT consulting company. She has previously worked as customer delivery executive, service manager, program manager, and business analyst for Dell, and as an office manager for TGI Fridays.

Sara's campaign for trustee of Van Alstyne Independent School District is her first run for public office.
