Darrell Brown is an educator. He has worked in Texas public education for more than 30 years. He began his career as a teacher, instructing students in special education, social studies, English, and theater. He later moved into school administration, serving as financial management coordinator for Northwest Independent School District (ISD) and then holding curriculum and technology leadership roles in Lewisville ISD, Southlake Carroll ISD, and HEB ISD. He also served as chief learning officer for Eagle Mountain-Saginaw ISD, overseeing academic strategy and district operations. Darrell concluded his full-time career as principal of Major Cheney Elementary. After retiring, he taught at North Point Christian Academy and Trinity High School. He currently works as a substitute teacher in Grapevine-Colleyville ISD.

Darrell has consistently demonstrated his dedication to academic excellence, teacher support, and responsible stewardship of district resources.
