Melanie Deemer earned a bachelor's degree in government from The University of Texas at Austin. She lives with her husband and their three children in Seabrook.

Melanie is an aerospace professional. She works at The Boeing Company, where she has been for 27 years supporting the International Space Station with NASA and international teams on complex projects that require accountability, collaboration, and disciplined oversight. She previously worked as a legislative aide during the 74th Texas Legislative Session, working on issues impacting families, veterans, and crime victims, and later supported state initiatives that expanded access to healthcare for Texas children.

Melanie Deemer’s campaign for Seabrook City Council Member is her first entry into politics.
