Margaret Madariaga is originally from Alexandria, Louisiana. She earned her bachelor's degree in history from Texas Tech University and her law degree from the Loyola University New Orleans College of Law. She lives with her husband, Christopher, and their children, in Iowa Colony, Texas. 

Margaret is the co-founder of Future Explorers Academy. She works at Future Explorers Academy, an onsite early childhood education center in Meridiana, where she has been since it opened in early 2023. The academy offers a research-based curriculum for children ages six weeks to 12 years, including preschool, kindergarten readiness, and before- and after-school programs, with built-in support for English-language learners and children with special needs.
