Susan Jones lives in McKinney, Texas. She earned her bachelor's degree in pharmacy from S. N. Pharmacy College, Pusad, and her master's degree in business administration from Amravati University. She volunteers as a member of the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board for the City of Anna, Texas, and the Anna Chamber of Commerce. She lives with her husband, Mathai.

Susan currently works as a team lead manager at Jersey Mike's Subs and an education consultant at Discovery Toys. She previously worked as a manager at Whataburger, and independent consultant at Premier Designs, a pharmacist at Rite Aid, and in marketing at Wockhardt Ltd.

Susan's campaign for the Anna, Texas, City Council is her first run for public office.
