Since coming to Congress, Vicente has voted down extremist Republican efforts to dismantle the Affordable Care Act, Medicare, and Social Security. He has delivered millions for our community health centers, introduced legislation to lower the cost of prescription drugs, and make it easier for South Texans to access the care that they need when they need it. In 2021, Vicente voted for historic legislation to cap the cost of insulin at $35 and bring down the cost of medicines.
