Evan Hunt has a bachelor s degree in history and political science from the University of Pennsylvania and a master s degree in international relations and conflict resolution from the American Military University. He has lived in McKinney for six years and has a son and daughter.

Evan is a retired U.S. Air Force lieutenant colonel and a veteran. He served for 20 years as a B-1 bomber weapons systems officer and electronic warfare officer. He also served as an instructor at the Air Force's Red Flag training exercise. After retiring from active duty, he continued his service in the Air National Guard, where he held key leadership roles, including master air attack plans chief, squadron commander, and deputy group commander. Following his military career, Evan transitioned into the defense and aerospace industry, where he has held executive roles at leading companies, including publicly traded corporations like Raytheon, private equity-backed firms, and venture-backed startups.
