John and his wife, Katie, have been married for nearly two decades. Together, they’re raising their two children — Jack, now a Longhorn at the University of Texas at Austin, and Sheridan, who attends All Saints Episcopal School in Fort Worth.

The McQueeneys are active at St. Patrick’s Cathedral, and when he is not at the Capitol, John is usually cheering on TCU football, traveling, or spending time with family and friends.
