WHO IS DAWN RICHARDSON?

Dawn has been an active member of her community since moving to Killeen by way of the Army. She is married to Ret Michael and is the proud mom of Killeen ISD graduates Dayna and Mycah as well as Grandma to grand pups, Persie and Shadow.

Dawn Richardson moved to Killeen through her Army service. She is married to Michael and has two children.

Dawn is also a retired educator with 39 years of service, the last 27 years being right here in Texas. With experience in both private and public schools, she has seen all sides of the Texas school system.

Dawn has worked alongside some of the most dedicated educators in Texas to support a diverse array of students in achieving well beyond what they thought possible. She has taught 7th - 12th grade science and math, coached basketball and cheerleading, and sponsored more clubs than she has space to list.
