More than fifteen years ago, I founded Platinum Divas, a sisterhood built to empower and uplift women. It became a safe space where women connected, grew, shared, and supported each other through life’s challenges.

Families in Brazoria County are working hard, but rising costs—from energy bills to housing, and everyday expenses—are making it harder to get ahead. Building a strong local economy means lowering those burdens while creating good-paying jobs and expanding opportunity. I believe economic growth and affordability must go hand in hand, with practical policies that support working families, strengthen local businesses, and create long-term stability.

Keeping taxpayer dollars in classrooms ensures students have the tools to succeed and businesses have a well-prepared workforce.

I believe in making sustained investments in public education so every child has a fair opportunity to thrive:

Manvel, TX – U.S. Term Limits (USTL), the leader in the national, non-partisan movement to limit terms for elected officials, is gathering support from state lawmakers across the nation. Its mission is to get 34 states to apply for an amendment proposal convention specific to term limits on Congress. Texas state house candidate, Karen Reeder (district 29), has committed support for term limits on Congress by signing the term limits convention pledge. Previously, incumbent Rep. Jeff Barry also signed the pledge.

The U.S. Term Limits pledge is provided to candidates and members of state legislatures.
