Ray Callas is from Galveston, Texas. He has a bachelor 27s degree in pre-med from Texas A&M University and a medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch. He lives in Beaumont with his wife, Lisa, and their daughters Emerie, MacKenna, and Raygan.

Ray is an anesthesiologist. He previously served in the U.S. Navy as a machinist mate and in the submarine service.
