Proposition 3, Denial of Bail for violent offenses, is now part of the Texas Constitution but more needs to be done to keep repeat violent criminals out of our neighborhoods. We need to revisit SJR1, Denial of bail for illegal aliens charged with felonies and SJR87, Denial of bail for persons accused of felonies previously convicted of or released on bail.
