Meet Paul

Paul and his wife, Teri, are proud parents to two children, Jamey and Drew, and continue to be active members of their community. Paul Dyson was raised in Bryan-College Station. He earned a bachelor's degree in political science from Texas A&M University, a master's degree in business administration from Mays Business School at Texas A&M University, and a law degree from South Texas College of Law Houston. He and his wife, Teri, are parents of two children.

Paul Dyson is a distinguished legal expert and energy industry veteran with deep-rooted connections to Bryan-College Station, Texas. Since 2014, Paul has served as the General Counsel for Dyson Energy Group, a family-owned oil and gas exploration and production company. He brings a wealth of experience in coordinating legal, financial, and regulatory matters. His role also extends to managerial duties for the company and other family ventures.

Before joining Dyson Energy Group in 2014, Paul kicked off his legal career with a clerkship under U.S. District Judge Leonard Davis in Tyler, Texas. He then moved on to work at two esteemed law firms in Houston: Porter Hedges, LLP, and Norton Rose Fulbright US, LLP. Within his first two years of private practice and multiple times after, Paul was recognized as a Texas Rising Star by Texas Super Lawyers, an honor reserved for the top 2.5% of Texas attorneys under 40.

Paul currently serves as general counsel for Dyson Energy Group, a family-owned oil and gas exploration and production company, and Infinity Water Solutions. He is co-owner of Lawyers Title Company of Brazos County and serves on American Momentum Bank’s board of directors. Previously, he clerked for U.S. District Judge Leonard Davis and worked at Porter Hedges and Norton Rose Fulbright, where he was a senior associate in the intellectual property group.
