Stephanie Draper is a proud Texan and 18-year Denton County resident, who is ready to use her 30+ years of experience in executive leadership and public administration to serve her community. Stephanie supports moving Denton County toward countywide Election Day Voting Centers, allowing voters to cast ballots at any location in the county, reducing confusion that acts as a barrier to turnout under the current precinct-based model. During public testimony before the Commissioners Court, she cited other Texas counties that have successfully implemented this approach with improved participation and shorter wait times.
As a long-time champion for improvements to election administration to expand access while maintaining the integrity of the election process, she is committed to advocating for reforms that make voting more accessible, understandable, and efficient for all eligible Denton County voters.
