What are your thoughts on the state budget process? What changes, if any, would you support so that the budget is enacted in a timely manner? The budget should be approved when it is supposed to be and our representatives should be held accountable if they fail to. Our representatives should treat the budget the same way they treat their personal budgets and work to make sure it can be paid for without undue pain to our communities.

Should the state legislature enact laws concerning the impacts on water, energy, or land use from the development and operation of data centers? Would state regulation of data center development and operation interfere with the authority of municipalities to establish ordinances under the MPC (Municipal Planning Code)? I think sensible laws that are not excessive are useful but they should be based on current facts not opinions or the past.

The difficult part is in what ever is used all eligible voters have the ability to provide it.
