AFFORDABILITY
Rising costs continue to place pressure on working families, seniors, and small businesses throughout Delaware County. Mike Murphy believes affordability must remain a central focus of local decision-making. That means supporting policies that encourage stable housing costs, responsible taxation, and practical approaches to utility, transportation, and everyday living expenses. Local government should be attentive to how budget decisions and regulations directly impact household budgets.

FISCAL RESPONSIBILITY
Responsible stewardship of taxpayer dollars is essential to maintaining trust and ensuring long-term stability. Mike Murphy supports disciplined budgeting practices that avoid wasteful spending while prioritizing essential services. Fiscal responsibility means evaluating projects and programs based on need, effectiveness, and long-term sustainability, ensuring that government operates within its means while still meeting community priorities.
