Education is another top priority for me, as I have four children going through the Penn-Delco School District. I am dedicated to supporting initiatives that improve educational outcomes, such as increasing funding for our schools.

Political experience: I was previously a member of the Delco Young Republicans and volunteered on various candidates’ campaigns, which sparked my interest in becoming more involved. I served as president of my former homeowners’ association and am currently a board member for two local youth sports organizations, Aston Valley Baseball and Aston Youth Soccer.

Why are you running and what are priorities for you in this race?
I am running for Pennsylvania state representative to ensure that my district has all the resources it needs to thrive. My focus is on fostering economic growth and job creation by promoting policies that support small businesses, including tax incentives, reduced regulations, and increased access to capital.

Infrastructure development is crucial for our communities, and I will advocate for investments that enhance our transportation systems and public facilities. Additionally, I am committed to public safety by supporting our local first responders.

Calls for better scheduling of grant-funded infrastructure projects to reduce disruptions from simultaneous repairs.

Mancinelli said one of his legislative priorities would be to figure out how to stagger infrastructure repair so it does not become so overwhelming to motorists who are just trying to get from point A to point B. “I know a lot of that work is related to grants that are directly given to the districts, and I think there could be a little bit better way of scheduling that,” he said. “For example, Penn-Delco, when we approve a construction project, we don’t want all four or five schools having air conditioners or roofs replaced at the same time. It’s too overwhelming. So I think there could be some insight from the ground level.”

Veteran support and health care access are personal priorities for me. My father is an 87-year-old Army veteran, and these issues are incredibly important to both of us. I will work tirelessly to improve services for veterans and ensure health care is accessible and affordable for all.

Said that elected office was not intended to be a career.

He said he feels government positions should be the same: You get in there for a couple of years, take a crack at effecting the kind of change you want to see, then get out. “I don’t think that job was ever meant to be a career,” he said. “It was based on farmers and lawyers and people like that coming in and just going and voting and coming home, and still running their business. I have every intention of keeping the pizza shop, and then I also own a property management business. … I just think I want to get up there and see if I can get some discussion going.”
