Since 2009, Pennsylvania's minimum wage has been kept as low as possible -- $7.25/hour. In 2026, no one can live on that. Multiple times, PA House Democrats voted to raise it to $15 per hour and tie it to inflation thereafter - Like we did AGAIN yesterday. Will GOP State Senate leaders block it AGAIN?

PA Minimum Wage needs to be RAISED | Chris Pielli

The premise of this bill is simple. If it’s AI, it has to say it’s AI. People deserve to know if what they’re looking at is real or not when making purchases. Disclosures should be clear and conspicuous in the same medium as the content generated to help consumers make better-informed and more secure purchases.

Economy

I will vigorously defend access to affordable health care to include women's choice and reproductive rights. I will vehemently oppose anti-abortion policy measures, such as PA Senate Bill 106 which aims to amend the state constitution and ultimately ban abortion in Pennsylvania. A vote for me = A vote for women's rights.

Healthcare

I am proud to have worked with my PA House Democratic colleagues to provide historic increases in funding to support our children's education and save taxpayers millions of dollars through Cyber Charter reform. I will continue to fight for fair funding for our excellent public education system and promote public preschool opportunities throughout our District.

Data centers represent rising electricity costs for entire communities in Pennsylvania. This is unacceptable during a time of already rising costs for gas, groceries, housing, and utilities. That's why I voted YES on the Data Center Act - House Bill 1834 - which passed the PA House yesterday. House Bill 1834 would: Protect ratepayers by explicitly prohibiting large data centers from shifting costs to households and small businesses. Require data centers to pay their fair share for costs and invests in energy affordability and low-income assistance to Pennsylvanians. Protect the environment by requiring data centers to use cleaner energy, improve energy reliability, and reduce emissions. Invest in new clean energy development.

The Environment

My pledge is to protect the air we breathe, the water we drink, and the environment we all share. As a past West Goshen Township Supervisor who fought the pipeline, I am a proven fighter for the health, safety, and welfare of our residents.

Gun violence is a serious Pennsylvania health crisis. I will fight for commonsense gun safety reforms on which the vast majority of us agree. We can respect the second amendment and keep our children safe.

WEST CHESTER, Jan. 8 – State Rep. Chris Pielli, D-Chester, along with several colleagues, introduced a bill today that would prohibit law enforcement agencies from using state-appropriated funds to enforce federal immigration laws. The legislation would also codify the Pennsylvania State Police’s policy of limited cooperation with federal immigration authorities.

“Law enforcement should be empowered to address local concerns and protect residents -- not diverted into roles that undermine public trust,” Pielli said.

Public Safety

As your State Representative I will continue fighting with every fiber of my being to give us a living wage, provide affordable housing and healthcare, protect our environment, our voting rights, a woman’s right to choose, our local economy, your children's education, and a citizen’s right to enjoy the equal protection of the law no matter their race, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, or religion, because Government that doesn’t work for everyone inevitably will not work for anyone.
