Like every other parent, my wife Stephanie and I worry about the world our kids are inheriting. We have the same conversations every family in District 111 has: How do we afford groceries when prices keep rising? How do we pay for healthcare when costs go up every year? Why are wages stagnant while housing prices skyrocket?

Pennsylvania State Representative District 111 - VOTE411.org

I'm not a politician; I work in software as a Quality Assurance Engineer. All of those problems sound like bugs to me! One of the most important things we do when we encounter a bug is to identify the root cause.

2026 Pennsylvania General Election

People look to their government to keep them fed, healthy, and stable. When the federal government attacks all three, our state must step up. I will fight to protect and expand SNAP access helping local families, local farmers, and local independent grocers over out-of-state mega chains. I will fight to protect Medicaid and expand healthcare access to all Pennsylvanians, putting our health ahead of insurance company stock prices.

Beyond raising minimum wage and building more houses, we need proven solutions. In 1991, Minnesota passed bipartisan Community Land Trust legislation, helping families own homes while keeping housing permanently affordable. After 30 years of success, it's time Pennsylvania caught up. We must support existing CLTs and create a framework for new ones, keeping housing in our communities, not Wall St.

Housing Availability & Affordability

I want Pennsylvania to have a thriving craft cannabis industry to go hand in hand with our craft beer industry.

Locally owned, operated, and sourced Pennsylvania Craft Cannabis. Businesses that become part of our local community, not dominated by out-of-state mega-corporations or restricted to state-run stores.

Cannabis Legalization

I will fight to protect Medicaid and expand healthcare access to all Pennsylvanians, putting our health ahead of insurance company stock prices. I will fight to end the inflated payments draining our local schools to send money to unaccountable cyber charters. I will fight to bring revenue into our communities through a severance tax on out-of-state gas companies and by legalizing cannabis.

Economy

Healthcare employs more people in our district than any other industry. Universal coverage protects these jobs with stable funding while guaranteeing care for every resident. Reps. Scott & Powell are leading this charge and when elected, I'll join them in that fight.

Medical Assistance Expansion

Healthcare

For my family it was assistance, but there are families where school meals may be their only meal of the day. With how unaffordable things are today, an arbitrary salary cap puts food insecure kids at even further risk. We can invest in both our farms and our kids' futures bringing farm-fresh food from Pennsylvania farms to our schools for free meals for our kids.

Why Run? Why Now?

As your State Representative, I will:

Vote to fully fund public education according to the constitutional requirement

Support cyber charter reform to stop the taxpayer ripoff

Demand transparency in how every education dollar is spent

Yes, the legislature should regulate data centers. These facilities consume power and water that existing frameworks were not designed to address. I support legislation requiring data centers to provide their own renewable energy, report water usage, and contribute to ratepayer assistance programs such as LIHEAP. State standards should set a floor while municipalities retain authority under the MPC to apply additional local protections.

Energy & the Environment

Pennsylvania spends over $3 billion on prisons while chronically underfunding addiction treatment, cycling people through jails instead of providing care. Our loved ones cycle through jails and homelessness in their struggles with addiction and mental health. Pennsylvanians over Profits means treatment over incarceration, expanded mental health services, and recovery over punishment and profit.

Mental Health & Addiction Reform

Five of six bordering states have legalized cannabis, and hundreds of millions in PA tax dollars cross state lines annually. Legalize adult use, expunge all possession convictions, and release those incarcerated for possession. Establish craft cannabis licenses for PA farmers and small businesses, keep profits local, not with corporations or state monopolies. Fund schools, roads, and broadband.

Our Campaign’s Top Issues

Public Safety

I support automatic voter registration, expanded early voting, and protecting no-excuse mail-in ballots to ensure every eligible Pennsylvanian can participate. Election security means accurate voter rolls, transparent auditing, paper trails, and physical safety for our poll workers.
