He previously worked at the Gibsonville Police Department as a patrolman from 1994 to 1996, at the Graham Police Department as a K-9 officer and corporal from 1996 to 2001, and at Triad Lawn Inc. as a manager overseeing landscaping, stone masonry, hardscapes, mowing and general lawn maintenance from 2001 to 2008.
