Keith Gregory has a bachelor 27s degree from the University of Virginia and a law degree from North Carolina Central University. He has lived in Cary for over 20 years.

Before taking the bench, Keith was a senior partner at the law firm of Gregory and McClinton, PLLC in Raleigh. He also previously served as an assistant public defender in Cumberland County and as an assistant district attorney for Wake County.

Keith is currently a judge for Judicial District 10D of the North Carolina 3rd Superior Court Division. He was appointed to the court by Governor Roy Cooper in May 2018. He was previously a district court judge for the 10th Judicial District from 2010 to 2018. He won elections to that post in 2010 and 2014.

As a district court judge, oversaw civil and criminal cases, including juvenile court, and granted search and arrest warrants.
