Having developed a successful business career in Alamance County, N.C., since graduating from Elon in 2008 with a degree in business entrepreneurship, Ian Baltutis is no stranger to the limelight.

Ian lives in Burlington with his partner and their family of pets, where he is dedicated to building a city and a state that is fiscally sound, strategically planned, and inclusive of every voice.

He serves on the board of Preservation Alamance, which seeks to protect and celebrate the architectural and historical heritage of Alamance County, and is restoring a 1912 home.

He also managed purchasing, logistics and ERP system integration for Honda Power Equipment Manufacturing from 2007 to 2011.
