July 9, 2018 — Stanly County Schools in North Carolina won the Outstanding District Award from the Southern Regional Education Board. The district was honored at SREB’s Sixth Annual College- and Career-Readiness Standards Networking Conference July 9 in Orlando, Florida. Danny Poplin, executive director of curriculum and instruction, accepted the award for the district.
