In January 2014, I started as a volunteer with the Durham Soil and Water
Conservation District. In September 2014, I was appointed Associate Supervisor
and in April 2017 I was appointed Supervisor of an unexpired term by the North
Carolina Soil and Water Commission.

In 2007 when I ran for City Council my platform was neighborhood safety, smart growth, and water resources. I have continued to work in all three areas since 2007. Now I have decided to concentrate my effort on preserving national resources.
